He commented on their upcoming 147 pound catch weight bout, “He’s bigger, but is [Ortiz] the smarter, more disciplined fighter? I’m walking around at 150, not like him [160 plus pounds.] I’m responsible. I believe my speed remains, and we know how everyone describes me as a defensive fighter. I’m not in this sport to take punishment. I’ll be fine”

But on his upcoming bout, there are some who doubts him but he just uses all these negativities being thrown at him as a form of encouragement to show them that he is still in top form. The 34 year old boxer bragged, “Everything people say I couldn’t do, I’ve done. They say I’ll never be a big pay per view star. I’m the biggest out there… To be in here almost 20 years as a pro and to be this sharp, that’s truly amazing. I just want to be the best. I have been in all out war. That doesn’t mean I’m not the best.” So catch Mayweather to be in an all out war against Ortiz and see if he will be able to knock him out.
